Digital beyond exhibition
The improvement of technology has undoubtedly brought numerous benefits to our lives, enhancing efficiency, connectivity, and convenience. However, it has also been associated with challenges, such as the impact on attention spans.
In this research, we explore how the digital age has affected the way people perceive and interact with cultural heritage, and how museums must adapt to this changing context. Some will argue that museums need to embrace technology as a tool for engaging and educating visitors, rather than seeing it as a threat or a distraction.Following the design approaches called Double Diamonds, investigating the current limitation of the current immersive design, specifically focusing on the Augmented Reality implementation.
From conceptualization solutions and creating prototypes to test the design concept, users will be able to experience a seamless Augmented Reality experience in a museum setting. There will be documentation of the overall user experience and testing with possible future implementations of these designs on the local museums.
