Firstly, understanding the current technological landscape in museums allows me to identify what's already working well. For instance, many museums are using **projection mapping** to transform spaces. This technology allows existing surfaces to come alive with virtual content, providing an immersive experience for visitors.

Studying successful implementations of this technology can provide valuable insights into how to effectively incorporate it into my own project.

Exising technologies

Moreover, researching existing technologies can provide inspiration for my own project. For example, **Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR)** are being used in some museums to superimpose a virtual world over what is actually in front of visitors. This brings exhibits and artifacts to life in new and immersive ways. Seeing how these technologies are being used can spark ideas for how to incorporate them into my own project.

Lastly, understanding the current use of technology in museums can help me anticipate potential challenges and obstacles. For instance, the COVID-19 crisis has heightened the need for **touchless technologies and proximity sensors**. By understanding how museums are currently addressing this challenge, I can better prepare for similar challenges in my own project.
